THE TIMELESS MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS, BROUGHT TO LIFE
On the second day of Christmas, Hall 1 of the NDK (National Palace of Culture) will transform into a dazzling, festive stage for the most beloved family comedy of all time – Home Alone. Home Alone in Concert is a spectacular visual and sonic masterpiece, blending the enduring humor of the 1990 film with the power and elegance of a live symphony orchestra.
You will watch the entire film on a large screen, while a full symphony orchestra and choir bring every comedic moment, every touch of nostalgia, and every festive thrill to life. From Kevin McCallister’s wild antics against the "Wet Bandits" to the iconic songs "Somewhere in My Memory" and "Star of Bethlehem"—now global Christmas anthems—an experience awaits that will make your eyes sparkle and fill your hearts with warmth.
THE GENIUS BEHIND THE MELODIES THAT MAKE CHRISTMAS POSSIBLE
The music of one of the greatest film composers in history will come to life on stage in Sofia. John Williams—winner of five Oscars and recipient of over 50 nominations, and the creator of the iconic themes for Harry Potter, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Jurassic Park—composed the soundtrack for Home Alone, which has become a global symbol of the holiday spirit.
Performed by virtuoso symphonic musicians in perfect synchronization with the film, the music transforms this familiar comedy into a breathtaking acoustic experience. It is true art, where intricate arrangements resonate with warmth, touching the soul of every viewer.
